Chelsea beat Spurs to climb into top half
Tottenham's nine-man team reduced to seven
Nicolas Jackson scored three second-half goals to inflict the first Premier League defeat of the season on Tottenham
Chelsea moved into the top half of the Premier League table with a 4-1 win over nine-man Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. Nicolas Jackson scored three goals in the second half after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg had canceled out Hakim Ziyech's opener. Richarlison and Emerson Royal were both sent off for the hosts, who had Harry Kane sent off last weekend for a tackle on Fabinho.
The win moves Chelsea up to ninth in the table, while Tottenham drops to seventh. Chelsea will face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup third round on Wednesday, while Tottenham will host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday.
