Max Homa Rockets to Longest Drive Record

Homa's 477-Yard Bomb Breaks Record

Sentry Tournament Third Round Witness to History

Max Homa has made golf history, unleashing the longest drive ever recorded on the PGA Tour. During Saturday's third round of The Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii, Homa's 477-yard drive on the seventh hole shattered the previous record.

The 33-year-old American's thunderous blow eclipsed the previous record of 471.9 yards set by Jamie Sadlowski in 2008. Homa's astonishing feat was captured by ShotLink, the PGA Tour's advanced ball-tracking technology.

Homa's record-breaking drive came on a par-4 hole, leaving him with a mere 154 yards to the green. Despite his extraordinary distance, Homa finished his round with a respectable score of 69, one stroke off the lead.
